HiTZ Cricket is launching a new women’s and girls’ cricket campaign to coincide with the start of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026, using one of the biggest moments in the sport to help more girls and young women try, enjoy and progress in cricket.
At the heart of the HiTZ campaign is a series of “Catch The Spirit” Free Taster Sessions designed to make the first HiTZ experience simple, welcoming and confidence-building.
The sessions will run as female-only sessions, giving players access to high-repetition batting practice, immediate feedback, video replay and performance insight in an environment created specifically to help them feel comfortable and supported.
The campaign has been built around a clear insight: many developing female cricketers are highly motivated to improve, especially with the bat, but often face barriers including limited access to meaningful batting practice, lower confidence in pressured or mixed environments, and uncertainty around how to get better.
HiTZ is responding with a proposition built on control, repetition, feedback and confidence: Train on your terms. Start with confidence. Get better every session.
Three sessions will be held during the Women's T20 World Cup group stage, aligning to the Australian Women's Team matches:
🗓️ Saturday 20 June, 9:00am to 12:00pm
🗓️ Wednesday 24 June, 5:00pm to 8:00pm
🗓️ Sunday 28 June, 9:00am to 12:00pm
Places are limited, with dedicated taster session capacity available across the three sessions.
Participants can register for free by visiting: https://hitzau.podplay.app/community/events
The sessions form part of HiTZ Cricket's ongoing commitment to creating accessible opportunities for women and girls to discover the game and build lifelong connections through cricket.
